  1. Thanks, Damien, for sharing with us such a diverse slice of talented poets from our wonderful LGBTQ+ community, poets from multiple generations and continents. The details in the poems that you and the others shared are different, of course, but I think that we all hear echoes in those spoken words of the often painful process we have experienced on the path to becoming who we are today. Pride almost always comes with a price.
