Below is a list of our Pushcart Prize nominations based on our 2nd issue the The Storms, first published in February 2023.
Emily Roys

Pushcart Prize nominee Emily Roys is a student of Immersive Software Engineering at the University of Limerick. She has been passionate about poetry and spoken word since she was 11. She draws on personal experiences and thoughts in her work, in the hope of making her poems relatable and interesting.

Elizabeth Gibson

Pushcart Prize nominee Elizabeth Gibson is a poet of Irish heritage, based in Manchester. Her work has appeared in Atrium, Confingo, Impossible Archetype, Lighthouse, Magma, Popshot, Queerlings, and Under the Radar, and she has performed on Eat the Storms. She has been commissioned by Manchester Literature Festival, Manchester Pride, Islington Mill, and Yorkshire Dance. She was awarded a DYCP grant from Arts Council England in 2021. Clodagh Healy

Pushcart Prize nominee Clodagh Healy is a 24-year-old graduate of Creative Writing from UCD. Born and raised in Kerry, her poetry is heavily influenced by the mythical and mundane happenings of Irish life. Her poetry has appeared in Dedalus Press’s A New Anthology of Love Poems ,The Liminal Review and The Martello Journal. Clodagh is on Twitter @clodagh_healy

Fiona O’Rourke

Pushcart Prize nominee Fiona O’Rourke writes Troubles fiction and the odd piece of time travel. Stories with The Waxed Lemon, Sonder Magazine, The Lonely Crowd, and more. Selected by portfolio for the M.Phil. in Creative Writing at Trinity College Dublin. Facilitates writing communities with Irish Writers Centre, libraries, and festivals. Bex Hainsworth

Pushcart Prize nominee Bex Hainsworth is a poet and teacher who is currently based in Leicester, UK. Her work has appeared in The Coachella Review, Atrium, Okay Donkey, Bath Magg, and Trampset. Her debut pamphlet Walrussey was published by Black Cat Poetry Press in 2023. Bex on Twitter @PoetBex

Robert Frede Kenter

Robert Frede Kenter is a Pushcart nominated poet, editor, visual artist, multiple grant recipient & EIC/Publisher of Ice Floe Press. Recent publications incl. EDEN (2021), work in The Book of Penteract (Penteract Press, 2022), work in Seeing in Tongues (Steel Incisors, forthcoming 2023) and the journals Acropolis, CutbowQ, Feral, Erato, WatchYrHead, Anthropocene.
