Marcelle Newbold’s writing explores place and inheritance. Bridport Prize shortlisted, her poems have been published in online and print magazines and anthologies from Propel, Ink Sweat & Tears, Atrium, IambFly on the Wall Press, Black Bough Poetry, Indigo Dreams and others.  She was previously managing editor of Nightingale & Sparrow literary press, a guest editor for Feral, and Black Bough, competition poetry judge for Rare Swan Press and Cardiff Writers Circle. Marcelle lives in Cardiff, Wales where she practiced as an architect.

Katie Montagna is a Dublin-based writer originally from California, USA, where she taught literature and art history. Her work includes historical fiction and poetry. Journals in which her haiku can be found include the Autumn MooncattailsCold Moonfirst frost, and tsuri-dōrō haiku journals, and previous of her ekphrastic poems can be heard on Eat the Storms. She is a founding member of the Baldoyle Writers’ Group. Katie is writing her first mystery novel.

Remco van Straten was part of the 2024 Nothern Soul Roadshow. His work is rooted in the history and lore of the northern Dutch coast of his childhood. He paints and draws, dabbles in music, and is currently working on his first novel.

Angela Graham is from Northern Ireland. She became a full-time writer in 2017, following a long career as a film maker in documentary and drama (BAFTA Cymru Awards, Oscar Foreign-language entrant).  A Writer’s Bursary from Literature Wales helped Angela complete her collection of 26 short stories set in Wales, Northern Ireland and Italy, and A City Burning was published by Seren Books in 2020. It was longlisted for the Edge Hill Short Story Prize 2021. Her 2022 collection of poetry, Sanctuary: There Must Be Somewhere, was also published by Seren Books. Angela is Welsh-speaking, and divides her time between Northern Ireland and Wales. She has received an Honorary Life Fellowship from the Institute of Welsh Affairs for her work on media and democracy. Her second poetry collection STAR: Poetry for the Christmas Season was published in August this year by Welsh independent, Culture & Democracy Press.

Peter Lilly is a Best of the Net nominated poet who grew up in Gloucestershire, England. After studying theology and working with the homeless in London, he moved to the South of France in 2014. He lives in a rural village with his wife and son, where he concentrates on writing, community development and English teaching. He loves to celebrate Christmas with his multi-national family, usually cooking far too much food, and always tries to experience some of the wonder of the nativity, presents, decorations and celebration through the eyes of his young son. Mary Anne Abdo is an author, poet and photographer. She graduated magna cum laude from Luzerne County Community College with a degree in Human Services. With a background in freelance journalism; she uses her poetry as a source of creative expression. Her self-published poetry book, “Fractured Lollipop Poems of Brokenness Healing and Hope is now on AmazonMary Anne has a passion for art, culture and literature. Her work has been featured in The Edge of Humanity Magazine,Mind and Matters Magazine, Moonstone Press,Grit and Grace Magazine, Orenaug Mountain Publishing,Pennsylvania Bards,Local Gems Press,Clare Songbirds 2024 Poetry Anthology,The Avocet, Calla Press,Scranton Poets Live, and  Studio B’s annual poetry anthology. Mary Anne placed second for her photography and short story submission in the Museum of Family Prayer’s 2022 Mary Garden contest. Bernadette O’Reilly has been published in various anthologies, journal. Participated in open mics, radio. She was chosen for the 2006 Poetry Ireland Introductions series and has self-published Gentle Touch, a collection of free form poems. Broken China, a collection of haiku, senryu, monoku, haibun, was published by Alba Publishing in September 2024.

Damien B Donnelly, Producer, Host and Poet

Damien B Donnelly is a 48-year-old Irish, adopted, queer writer & podcast producer who spent 23 years in Paris, Amsterdam, and London working in the fashion industry, returning to Dublin at the end of 2019. He’s the host / producer of Eat the Storms and the EIC of The Storms, the printed journal of poetry, prose & visual art. His debut pamphlet, Eat the Storms, published by The Hedgehog Poetry Press, nominated for a Pushcart Prize and featured on the Poetry Book Society Winter List 2020/21, followed by a Pushcart Prize nominated Stickleback (micro collection) and In the Jitterfritz of Neon, a conversational pamphlet co-written with Eilín de Paor. His first full collection Enough! was also published by Hedgehog in August 2022. His poetry and short stories have appeared in numerous journals, online and in print. His 2nd full collection, Back from Away, was published in May 2024 with Turas Press
