Beth Brooke

Beth Brooke is a retired teacher living in Dorset. Her fourth poetry chapbook, A Long Way Down recently won the Brian Dempsey Memorial Prize and is published by Vole Books. She is Omi to Robyn, a fabulous little person.

Chris Campbell

Chris Campbell is a Dublin-born former journalist who works as an Editor in Bristol. He has just moved to Oxford. Chris’ second full collection, ‘Why I Wear My Past to Work’, was published by Parlyaree Press in September (2025) and touches on fatherhood, recovery from illness and urban life. His mini pamphlet will be published by Atomic Bohemian in 2026. His poems appear in publications such as Magma, Prole, The Waxed Lemon, Sídhe Press, Indigo Dreams and Black Bough Poetry. Chris was Highly Commended in the 2024 Cobh International Poetry Competition and shortlisted for Canterbury Poet of the Year 2023. He features on BBC Radio Bristol.

Giles Watson

Giles Watson is a writer, historical researcher and teacher of English and Drama and member of W.A. Poets who lives in Albany/Kinjarling, Western Australia.  He has a long-standing fascination with mediaeval texts, folklore and mythology.  His other passions are natural history, wildlife rehabilitation and walking. He is the author of the libretto for Mimma: A Musical of War and Friendship, performed at the Regal Theatre in Perth and Cadogan Hall in London; a book of essays on the folklore of natural history, A Witch’s Natural History (Troy Books), and a large body of poetic work, both self-published and in literary journals.  Giles is also the editor of Ten Poems About Butterflies (Candlestick Press).  Eungedup: A Wetland Summer Diary is due for publication by Fremantle Press in January 2026

Sue Finch

Sue Finch loves the coast, peculiar things and the scent of ice-cream freezers. She lives with her wife in North Wales and is the author of two poetry collections: Magnifying Glass and Welcome to the Museum of a Life. She has also created a coffee table book, Vortex Over Wave which features a series of poems for the full moon and a selection of photos of discarded elastic bands.

Host / Producer Damien B Donnelly

Damien B Donnelly is a 50-year-old Irish, adopted, queer writer & podcast producer who spent 23 years in Paris, Amsterdam, and London working in the fashion industry, returning to Dublin at the end of 2019. He’s the host / producer of Eat the Storms and the EIC of The Storms, the printed journal of poetry, prose & visual art. His debut pamphlet, Eat the Storms, published by The Hedgehog Poetry Press, nominated for a Pushcart Prize and featured on the Poetry Book Society Winter List 2020/21, followed by a Pushcart Prize nominated Stickleback (micro collection) and In the Jitterfritz of Neon, a conversational pamphlet co-written with Eilín de Paor. His first full collection Enough! was also published by Hedgehog in August 2022. His poetry and short stories have appeared in numerous journals, online and in print. His 2nd full collection, Back from Away, was published in May 2024 with Turas Press. He is the Head of Programming at the Irish Writers Centre.
