Submit to the 5th Storm

Submissions are currently open for issue 5 of The Storms, our printed journal of poetry, prose and visual art. This issue is supported by Fingal Arts / Fingal County Council and Dublin UNESCO City of Literature / Dublin City Council and EIC, Damien B. Donnelly, is accompanied this time by fellow Dublin writer, and long-time star Stormer, Rhona Greene, as subeditor.

For full details on How to Submit your poetry, short stories, flash fiction, memoir, paintings, sketches, collages, and photographs to this new issue, click here. Our current issue is theme-free so ride your own tempest for this issue. Do remember to read the guidelines and only submit to one category. We are looking for contributions from all around the world and have so far featured writers from all across Europe, the United States, Australia, New Zealand, The Philippines, Scandinavia, Nigeria and South Africa, to name but a few.

So far, over the course of our 5 Storm Launches, we have combined creativity and culture, with our in-person launches in some of the most exquisite historical buildings in Dublin. We’ve been to the 18th century’s Casino Marino, the 13th century’s Royal Chapel in Swords Castle, the 12th century’s St Audeon’s Church and the 18th century’s Ardgillan Castle. If you are one of our international contributors, don’t worry, we do come to you via a live zoom launch so our entire Storm Community can connect around the world!
